Morelo Reisemobile GmbH and PARAVAN GmbH will be presenting pioneering barrier-free motorhome solutions at the CMT vacation and travel trade fair at Messe Stuttgart from January 13 to 21, 2024 at the MORELO Reisemobile GmbH in Hall 2, Booth 2B14.
At the international motorhome trade fair CMT 2024 in Stuttgart, Morelo Reisemobile GmbH and Paravan GmbH will be presenting pioneering barrier-free solutions for people with physical disabilities. The focus will be on the barrier-free converted Morelo Palace 90 LS, which not only meets the highest premium standards, but also offers unrestricted comfort when traveling. The premium motorhome gives an impression of what is possible in terms of barrier-free adaptation.
The cooperation between Morelo and Paravan aims to offer people with physical disabilities the best possible care in the area of barrier-free travel. It turns out that motorhomes are also very popular with this target group. On the contrary, users of these adapted mobile homes also have the advantage of being able to spend their vacation in their familiar surroundings. Morelo acts as a provider of premium basic vehicles, while Paravan provides barrier-free access as well as a wide range of driving and steering aids, including the innovative Space Drive drive-by-wire system for intuitive operation of the accelerator, brakes and steering.
"Enquiries are increasing," reports Joachim Glück, Head of Technical Consulting at PARAVAN GmbH. "There is a great need to be able to travel independently, and we have the experience and capabilities to offer solutions and implement them on site." Glück and his team support customers from initial contact through to delivery, and conversion measures can be carried out regardless of brand or model.
The adaptation of the interior includes wheelchair-accessible lift and ramp systems, door widening, barrier-free interiors, individual sanitary facilities and even rails on the ceiling for transferring by lift. PARAVAN provides the optimum individual solution for a wide range of symptoms, including adaptations to input devices such as the Space Drive driving and steering system, pedal raisers and hand knobs.
In addition to adapting the interior, getting into the often somewhat higher vehicle is a key issue and often a challenge. PARAVAN offers proven cassette lift solutions in combination with door extensions. Alternatively, the universal PARAVAN "EStep light" footboard lift for motorhomes or the "EStep comfort" is available as a transfer solution. This lift is installed in the interior to save space, can be easily swiveled into the entry or exit position and has a convenient remote control as well as a handle for safety on the non-slip platform. Visitors to the CMT vacation and travel trade fair will have the opportunity to visit Morelo and Paravan from January 13 to 21, 2024 at the MORELO Reisemobile GmbH in Hall 2, Booth 2B14. There they can take a look at the barrier-free Morelo Palace 90 LS motorhome, which is equipped with the "EStep comfort" entry aid. This makes it easier to get into and out of the motorhome from a wheelchair while seated. There is an SWL wheelchair loading aid in the rear garage for safe transportation of the wheelchair. Mobility consultants are on site to answer individual questions about the motorhome conversion.
